Level 5 HR Professional

Who is this apprenticeship for?
This would suit those providing People Professional expertise or leading HR functions within an organisation of any size or sector and seeking to expand their knowledge and skills in this area. Individuals in this role will use their HR expertise to provide and lead the delivery of HR and people management solutions, delivering advice and guidance on several HR areas and supporting positive employee relations. Typical roles that this apprenticeship will support are HR Manager, HR Consultant, People Manager, Talent Manager and Employee Relations Consultant

What will this programme cost?

For levy-paying employers, funds from the Apprenticeship Service account can be used to fully cover the costs of our training. Non-levy paying employers benefit from government funding of between 95%-100% of the cost of the training, dependant on the apprentice’s age. For those aged 22 or over, a one-off £550 co investment payment will be required from the employer. To be eligible for this funded training, the apprentice must be a paid employee of the business and in receipt of a wage of at least £6.40 in the first year of training, rising to the National Minimum Wage for the appropriate age group thereafter.

Industry-recognised accreditation

As part of the programme, learners will complete the nationally recognised CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management providing the knowledge and skills to make informed choices and

develop expertise in HR and people practice.

  • Talent management

How is the training delivered?

Training for this programme is delivered remotely through regular online workshops via Microsoft Teams and our e-portfolio platform. Alongside on-the-job training, apprentices are required to spend a minimum of 6 hours of their working week completing off-the-job training, including online workshops and assignment work.

 

What is End Point Assessment (EPA)?

The EPA process validates the knowledge, skills and behaviours that an apprentice has gained during their training and demonstrates the competence of an apprentice.

This consists of:

  • Integrated assignment 

  • Presentation and Q&A session

  • Professional discussion with portfolio
